A custom iPhone job

So a while back I started tinkering with my iphone 4S, I needed to get the screen replaced and after browsing ebay I found a replacement screen costed around £30.  What followed was youtube crawling for screen replacement teardown videos.
I ended up repairing my screen!

A little HTML5 CSS3 Javascript Experiment...

I decided to have a go at building a realistic slots machine using HTML5, CSS/3 and JavaScript.  I am also using JQuery and Modernizr.js.  Very simple, there is no logic added yet to pay lines or anything, but a great start for the animation and the visual.

HTML5 Video

So I had a go at embedding a video I downloaded into a html5 doc...
First I had to convert it and make it ready for the web from a .mov to a .m4v file.  That was quick and easy though, then I embedded the video with various fallback sources.

I was asked by a friend of mine to put together a site for her Personal Trainer business.  She needed a site which was easy to update and manage in addition to a site which would pull in feeds from her Twitter and Facebook social sites.  I put together a Drupal based site which met her needs.

So tonight after many frustrations from my brother, he enlisted my help to get his app on the AppStore. why oh why do they make it so complicated !? Anyways, after tweaking developer / provisioning / distribution certificates his app is now online! My thoughts are that finally the deal was clinched between Adobe and the late Mr Apple Jobs!

Recycled paper business logo / brand development

I was asked to develop a logo for a new recycled paper manufacturing and distributing company.  This included coming up with the company name, a logo and an idea behind the logo or the beginning of a 'brand'.

The company was going to recycle paper and plant a seed for every order they received.
